This privacy policy sets out how Alison Pine Training uses and protects any information that you provide when using our services.

Alison Pine Training is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The Data Controller:

Alison Pine is the data controller for any personal information you supply in relation to enquiries about services and when becoming a client.

What information is collected:

As part of our Privacy and Cookies Policy we will obtain personal data about you such as your name, email and address whenever you complete an online form or contact us for any reason. We may also obtain sensitive personal data about you, if you volunteer it during the completion of an online form, in email correspondence, when completing an enrolment or health questionnaire and when attending a consultation. If such information is volunteered by you, you will be giving your consent to our processing it for the purpose of dealing with your request.

What your information is used for:

The main aim of collecting data from you is to fully understand your needs and to help deliver the best level of service for you as our client.

The hard copy of your personal details is stored in a locked cabinet and only available to Alison Pine Training.

Alison Pine Training will never share your data with anyone unless this is essential in order to provide you with the services required (e.g. to register you on the MHFA website in respect of Mental Health First Aid training) or if legally obliged to do so by either regulatory or law enforcement agencies.

You have the option to provide personal information to enable me to understand your needs and provide you with the most suitable service. If you do so, the information will be used for the following:-

  • Internal record-keeping.

  • To aid understanding of you and your specific needs/requirements.

  • Advice on what treatments/training/support is suitable for you.

  •  To contact you via email or phone regarding your appointments, training times and wellbeing events.

How long your data is retained

Under UK law, Alison Pine Training is required to keep your basic personal data (name, address and contact details) for a minimum of 6 years after which time it will be destroyed. This is 6 years after the last time you were provided with either a service.

What are your rights

If at any time you believe the information we process on you is incorrect you can request to see this information and have it corrected or deleted.

An overview of your rights is as follows: –

  • You can object or withdraw your consent to the use of your personal information at any time.

  • You can request a copy of the personal information I hold.

  • You have the right to have any inaccuracies corrected.

  • You can have your personal data erased.

  • You can place restrictions on processing your data.

  • You can request your data to be ported (data portability).
